Fundamental Purpose of the Institute
The Institute is a national, professional organization for health benefits administration firms committed to integrated healthcare risk management. Founded and sponsored by The TriZetto Group, Inc., the mission of the Institute is to provide members with resources, tools for cost avoidance and information that enable them to better manage risk and coordinate care for client employers and their employees.
In fulfilling its mission, the IHRM works with individual member firms, The TriZetto Group and TriZetto Premier Partner organizations participating in the Institute.
IHRM Objectives
Communication – Promote public awareness and confidence in the integrity, capabilities and professionalism of Third Party Administration firms and monitor the ever-changing needs of their client employers.
Education – Assist highly qualified benefits administration firms utilizing QicLink claims administration technology from TriZetto and support the on-going development of training and educational programs.
Performance Standards – Establish professional standards and assist member firms in improving their performance and expanding their expertise. Monitor such performance to enforce current standards and foster best practices.
Value Proposition – Use integrated core benefits administration technologies, tools for cost avoidance and the resources of approved TriZetto Premier Partners to strengthen the value proposition of member Third Party Administration firms.
